Username: u/founder is generic on purpose. A real-looking u/ plus a first name is fine. Do not impersonate a known moderator.

2. What is the title, exactly?

Write it as a Reddit title, then stop.

Good: "We hit $10k MRR with a boring niche — here's the stack"

Worse: "Introducing the all-in-one screenshot platform for modern teams 🚀"

The second one is a Product Hunt tagline. Reddit will smell it even in a mock.

Body text in this template is optional. Many high-performing posts are title + image. If you add a body, keep it a stub, not the blog post.

3. Do upvotes and comments agree with the title?

A "$10k MRR" war story with 2.4k upvotes and 318 comments is a plausible hit. The same title with 4 upvotes is a different story (quiet post, maybe that's what you want for "we're early"). Pick one: viral proof or humble proof. Do not mix a mega-title with dead numbers.

4. Image or text post?

Marketing screenshots usually want the image slot filled, because a text-only card is easy to confuse with a comment. If the story is a screenshot of a dashboard, the Reddit post contains that image; you are not replacing the Reddit chrome with the dashboard.
